As Griffin Consultancy, we’re searching for a Corporate Compliance Officer for our global business partner who is the leading name in airline both in Türkiye and Europe. Corporate Compliance Officer will directly report to Legal Affairs & Corporate Compliance Director and will work hybrid.
- Awareness of Legal Affairs & Corporate Compliance Director in case of a compliance issue and provide necessary compliance updates
- Guiding business units on compliance matters
- Pursuing professional development in the local and international compliance area
- Report having good communication and compliance processes development studies
- Monitoring and managing department goals
- Representing and coordinating relationships with other departments
- Monitoring and implementing department budget
- Work in good coordination with the Audit Directorate and Compliance Monitoring & Standardization Department
- Monitoring, reviewing, and executing the Company Code of Ethics
- Monitoring, reviewing, and executing the International Rules and Regulations
- Providing guidance to the Business Units for their drafting and enforcement of their own “Procedures” in line with the principles under the Company Code of Ethics,
- Issuance of the Compliance Program and Annual Compliance Report
- Compliance Review of the business units in line with the applicable Internal Rules & Regulations, Policies, Procedures, and Laws
- Monitoring and complying with the approval process, categorization, and hierarchy of the Company Policies, Procedures, and Internal Rules & Regulations,
- Review compliance Policies and Procedures and propose amendments, when needed to be approved by the Legal Affairs and Corporate Compliance Director
- Approve department personnel; annual leave, duty travel expenses, training courses as well as other required expenses
- Advice on decisions related to the Company Compliance Practices
- Provide necessary resources for the implementation of the Company Compliance practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferablly in law, economics administration or engineering,
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate compliance or similar areas,
- Strong Awareness of US, EU and UN sanctions or competititon law practices is desired,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively across all levels of the organization,
- Experience in international teams is desired.
