Production Manager

As Griffin Consultancy, we’re searching for a Production Manager for our partner who is the leading name in production sector in Türkiye. Production Manager will directly report to Operations Director and will work on site.

• Leads all production unit activities.
• Participates in the formation of the organization’s strategic and annual goals.
• Makes the necessary resource planning to ensure that the work included in the production scope is carried out with sufficient performance. Implements this resource planning.
• Defines the work standards in the business processes involved in these activities and ensures they are updated when necessary.
• Participates on behalf of the institution in sectoral activities when necessary. In this regard, fulfills responsibilities or ensures that they are fulfilled.
• Ensures the execution of outfitting, piping, hull, and electrical production work.
• Ensures coordination during production stages both within the department and with other departments.
• Ensures that production activities are carried out in accordance with the project plan, production processes, procedures, and instructions, meeting the class and other relevant authority rules, technical specifications, contracts, drawings, safety, ergonomics etc.
• Ensures that the activities (work orders) related to the department are completed within the predicted time and budget according to the project plan.
• Suggests improvements to reduce labor and costs.
• Ensures that the status (physical completion rates) of activities and/or work orders is updated daily.
• Ensures that all employees in the department enter any identified non-conformities into the relevant system and ensures that improvement requests are reported through the same system.
• Identifies training needs, ensures employees receive the necessary training, and monitors their development after the training.

Qualifications:

• Graduating from Engineering department of leading universities in Turkey,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project),
• Ability to express oneself fluently in both spoken and written English,
• A minimum of 8 years of experience,
• Strong verbal and written communication skills,
• Strong persuasion and coordination skills at the senior management level.
